Ghana Athletics has announced a four-member committee to manage sponsorships and fundraising activities of the federation.
Andrews Agbo Kitcher, who is the President of the Past Athletes Association of Ghana (PAAG), is the chairman of the committee which has the mandate to develop a fundraising and sponsorship plan for the federation.
Agbo Kitcher, who doubles as one of the Vice Presidents of the federation, will be assisted by Daniel Janamah as his vice.
Mrs. Juliana Asante and Philippina Frimpong are the other members of the committee.
Some duties of the committee are to oversee the writing of sponsorship proposals for the committee and ensure the funds raised are used for the designated purpose. They are also to identify potential sources of funds e.g. sponsorship, or grants, and close negotiations to bring the deals on board.
